Pick Up Times/Departure Points

You get on board at Thames Street Wharf, Balmain at 6.00am, with a drop back to the Wharf at 2.00pm.  For exclusive private groups only, we can start earlier or later if you wish. 

For directions to Thames Street Wharf Balmain .... drive to Darling Street and turn left into Mort Street.  The Wharf is down the end of the street, with free all day parking available.   

We are flexible regarding other departure points.   Let us know where you would like and we can always try to accommodate. 

Food/Drink

We recommend you bring your own food and drink.  Alcohol is not provided however you are more than welcome to bring your own.   We would prefer that you bring cans rather than bottles.  Consumption of alcohol is however at your own risk and responsibility will not be accepted for stupid or irresponsible behaviour which may result in injury to yourself or to others.

In addition to deep sea fishing charters, the Bobbie Jay is also available for:-

This price is for singles and small groups. 

A fishing charter exclusively for your group on the Bobbie Jay will cost you $1,200 for up to 15 persons for the day plus $70.00 for additional persons up to 20 people.   This pricing is for weekends and public holidays.   For weekdays, we can offer you a cheaper rate.   Please contact us for a price. 

Inclusive in this cost is your bait, tackle and also your recreational fishing licence.  

The bait we use is fresh prawns, pilchards and fresh squid.  All fishing tackle is provided and we use Alvey winches and rods/reels.

Due to rising fuel charges, our prices have been increased from August 2008.
